In this video, I review nail polish, eye shadow sticks, and cream blush sticks. I also have a quick application demo.

Marissa’s Pick of the Week – M.A.C. Lip Pencils
I absolutely love M.A.C. Lip Pencils ($13)! They glide on smoothly, wear for a long time and have great coverage. I like wearing these more than lipstick because you get more precise results. I like to wear 2 lip pencils; one for the liner and one as the lipstick, then top it with a Lip Glass ($14.50) or Tinted Lip Conditioner ($14.50) Some of my favorite combinations are:
Bright Hot Pink–
Line: Cherry
Lip: Magenta
Gloss: Viva Glam Gaga lip Glass
Neutral Brown–
Line: Cork
Lip: Subculture
Gloss: Soothing Beige Tinted Lip Conditioner
Red–
Line: Brick
Lip: Cherry
Gloss: Viva Glam Cyndi Lip Glass
Nude–
Line: Stripdown
Lip: Oak
Gloss: C-Thru Lip Glass
Bahirah’s Pick of the Week- Milk Pencil
The NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in “Milk” ($4) Has become a staple in my makeup wardrobe since I first saw it used in a video makeup tutorial. It is the perfect brow bone highlighter, giving a natural matte finish. If you are lucky, you can find a Milk pencil at your local beauty supply store for a cheaper price. If you do, get a bunch at a time. They are always sold out at the store I go to. You can of course get them on the NYX Cosmetics Website. $4 is still a steal for this professional quality must have.
Rockabilly Swap!!!
I really lucked out! My partner for the Craftster Rockabilly Swap was a fashion design teacher, so of course I got clothes! Not only did I get a rockin’ new outfit, but I also got a new apron, ring and wrist pin cushions, a makeup bag with matching coin purse, some glitzy barrettes, makeup brushes, magnets, pedi clippers, headband, and pinup girl compact and tin.
here are some pics of the small-ish stuff:
here I am in the apron and headband (rawr!)

I couldn’t resist doing up the rockabilly makeup. I would’ve sported bigger hair if I had the right kind of pomade.
Here’s what I sent to my partner:
Reverend Horton Heat fabric patches
pin, phone charm and key chain

personalized stationary set:

School Supplies Swap
I love school supplies. I remember buying pens, pencils, notebooks, and pencil boxes at Sanrio. Having cute supplies made me excited about school. It made me want to do work! I loved showing off my newest Hello Kitty lunch bag or Lisa Frank folder. Remember Yikes! erasers? Those where the shit! Oh, and you where lame if you didn’t have a trapper keeper…I didn’t have one. Since I loved looking at cute anime characters on the corner of my page as I took notes in class, I decided to host a swap. This is my first time organizing a swap! I’m nervous and excited at the same time. If you would like to join, enter here.
