Pinup Girl Makeup Tutorial

As requested by my dear cousin all the way across the country, I present to you all, my version of pinup girl makeup. I put a modern twist on a classic look, highlighting more than the true to period makeup. With so many advances in cosmetic technology, why not upgrade the look a little? My new must-have for a modern pinup look is MAC’s new Electric Cool eye shadow in “Pure Flash!” It adds the perfect amount of shine and irridescenceĀ to your lid for a hint of glamour. The most important top ten online casinos factors in a pinup look are the winged liner and defined eyebrows. Tamed and sculpted brows give that polished finish that pinup models have. Brows are usually forgotten in most people’s makeup routine, but the attention you give to them can make or break your look. In my Pinup Girl Makeup Tutorial, I use some of my favorite beauty products including some new Sigma brushes. Thanks for watching. Enjoy!

Wonder Woman Makeup Tutorial

I love the new Wonder Woman makeup collection from M.A.C.! Everything down to the packaging is top notch. I got the Mineralize Skinfinish Powder ($35), “Lady Justice” eye shadow quad ($40), “Red Russian” matte lipstick ($15.50), “Wonder Woman” lipglass ($20), and “Themyscira” blue Opulash mascara ($15). There’s really no point in doing a review on this line because everything M.A.C. creates is amazing. I’ll cut to the chase and show you all my new tutorial!

Killer Kween

My partner has received her package for the “Craft My Favorite Decade” swap, so I can post some of the stuff I made now. She liked the 18th century, so my crafts were inspired by Marie Antoinette. I did some research and watched both he PBS documentary and Sofia Coppola (very dissapointing) movie. I loved the tote bag so much, I made 2!

I’m starting with my favorite item. This tote bag is so awesome! I’m not a great sewer, but I gave myself a pat on the back for design. To think, I just had these scraps of fabric and lace laying around my craft room.

This ruffle collar/neckwarmer was knitted in acrylic, then embellished with gray lace and gi’normous buttons.

Trinkets included chandelier earrings (real and fake), crocheted cuff, a ring, cell phone charm, silhouette necklace and “Let them eat cake” mirror.

My partner also liked the 50s, so I tossed in some retro nautical-ish things.

Nautical hair clip

Mermaid and hibiscus necklace

I sent a few more things, but nothing worth blogging about. Thanks for looking!
