Pinup Girl Makeup Tutorial

As requested by my dear cousin all the way across the country, I present to you all, my version of pinup girl makeup. I put a modern twist on a classic look, highlighting more than the true to period makeup. With so many advances in cosmetic technology, why not upgrade the look a little? My new must-have for a modern pinup look is MAC’s new Electric Cool eye shadow in “Pure Flash!” It adds the perfect amount of shine and irridescence to your lid for a hint of glamour. The most important top ten online casinos factors in a pinup look are the winged liner and defined eyebrows. Tamed and sculpted brows give that polished finish that pinup models have. Brows are usually forgotten in most people’s makeup routine, but the attention you give to them can make or break your look. Monster High Makeup Tutorial: Lagoona Blue

Hey Dolls! This Monster High makeup tutorial is for little girls. Yay! My beautiful daughter, Chibi Kitsch, will be the smart and gorgeous Lagoona Blue this Halloween. For her look, I omitted foundation, powder, eyeliner and mascara. I just think that’s too much for a 9 year old to wear, not to mention the difficulty of taking it all off. You can complete this look in 5 minutes with inexpensive alternatives to what I used.

Pick of the Week…Makeup Remover Facial Towelettes

Here I review my top 3 picks for facial towelettes. The first is MAC Cosmetics Wipes (maccosmetics.com, $19.50). These remove makeup very well, have natural botanicals to help sooth and brighten skin, and have glycerin to attract moisture. The second is the Yes to Cucumbers Facial Towelettes (Drug Stores, $7). I love these wipes because they have Dead Sea salt which help to tone, brighten and clarify skin for a radiance boost. The third pick is The Body Shop Tea Tree Wipes (www.thebodyshop-usa.com, $12). In the summer, my skin tends to get a little oily and I break out occasionally. Tea Tree helps to keep skin clean and clear of acne without stripping any natural moisture.
